Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi, Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, invites applications for 01 Teaching Fellow position for undergraduate academic activities. Candidates with a First-Class M.A. degree in Social Sciences, Philosophy or a related field can apply online on or before September 14, 2026. M.Phil./Ph.D. candidates and those with prior teaching or graduate-level teaching assistance experience will be preferred.

About the Organization: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi was created by an Act of the Delhi legislature to undertake research and development, conduct educational programmes and grant degrees. It is a research-led teaching institute focused on quality education, cutting-edge research, innovation and entrepreneurship. The Institute has six academic departments, including Social Sciences & Humanities, and supports research centres, technology innovation, industry collaboration and entrepreneurial activities.

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess a First-Class M.A. degree in Social Sciences, Philosophy, or any related field.
- M.Phil./Ph.D. in the relevant discipline will be preferred.
Experience:
- Prior teaching experience is not essential, but Candidates with experience in teaching or assisting at the graduate-level programme will be preferred.
Candidate Profile:
- Candidates should have an excellent academic record and a proven interest in academic teaching.
- The position is best suited for candidates who are looking to pursue teaching careers.
- Candidates should be capable of supporting undergraduate courses through tutorials, course administration, student mentoring, assessments and related academic activities.
- With Hostel Accommodation: Rs.50,000/- per month, with free hostel accommodation subject to availability.
- Without Hostel Accommodation: Rs.55,000/- per month.
- A monthly deposit of Rs.27,500/- from the salary of each of the first two months will be kept with the Institute and paid on completion of the offered tenure.
