• Professor of Sculpture: Candidates should have a doctoral degree, a minimum of six research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a research score of at least 120. A separate professional artist route is specified in the advertisement.
• Associate Professor of Geography, English and Botany: Candidates should have a Ph.D. in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline, a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks, a minimum of seven publications, and a research score of at least 75.
• Associate Professor of Esraj and Painting: Candidates may qualify through the prescribed academic route or the traditional or professional artist route. Refer to the detailed advertisement for the applicable requirements.
• Assistant Professor: Candidates should have a relevant Master’s degree with at least 55% marks and have qualified NET / SLET / SET, or hold a Ph.D. meeting applicable UGC requirements. Alternative qualifications are prescribed for certain traditional or professional artist positions.

• Professor: Candidates should have at least ten years of teaching and/or research experience at a University or national-level institution.
• Associate Professor: Candidates should have at least eight years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic or research position equivalent to Assistant Professor.

• Professor: Academic Level 14, entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200/- as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
• Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A, entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400/- as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
• Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10, entry pay of Rs. 57,700/- as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix

• The academic score specified in Appendix II, Table 3A of the UGC Regulations will be used only to shortlist the candidates for interview.
• The University may limit the number of candidates invited for interview based on the prescribed shortlisting criteria.
• Final selection will be based on performance in the interview.
