  • Candidates should have a relevant Master’s degree with at least 55% marks and a Ph.D. in the relevant subject.
  • For Professor and Associate Professor positions, candidates should also meet the prescribed publication, research score and doctoral supervision requirements.

Experience:

  • Professor: Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant teaching experience, where prescribed.
  • Associate Professor: Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant teaching experience, where prescribed.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor: Entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200/- at Academic Level 14, plus admissible allowances.
  • Associate Professor: Entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400/- at Academic Level 13A, plus admissible allowances.
  • Assistant Professor: Entry pay of Rs. 57,700/- at Academic Level 10, with five non-compounded increments for eligible Ph.D. holders, plus admissible allowances.

Age Limit:

  • Assistant Professor: Up to 45 years
  • Associate Professor: Up to 50 years; relaxation up to 55 years may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
  • Professor: Up to 55 years; relaxation up to 60 years may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
