Educational Qualification:

  • Ph.D. Degree in the relevant discipline with First Class in the preceding degree(s) for all Departments/Centres (except Architecture).
  • If suitable Ph.D. candidates are not available for the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, candidates having a First Class M.Tech. degree at both UG and PG levels may be considered.
  • For the Department of Architecture, Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with First Class in the preceding degree(s). If suitable Ph.D. candidates are unavailable, candidates with M.Arch./M.Plan. and First Class in both UG and PG along with one year of professional experience may be considered.

  • Preference will be given to candidates possessing higher qualifications and relevant experience.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Rs. 80,000/- per month (Consolidated, All Inclusive) for candidates possessing a Ph.D. degree.
  • Rs. 70,000/- per month (Consolidated, All Inclusive) for candidates appointed in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and the Department of Architecture in case suitable Ph.D. candidates are not available, subject to fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria.
