Educational Qualification:
Assistant Professor:
- Ph.D. in the relevant/allied discipline with First Class in the preceding degree.
- Preference will be given to candidates having at least one publication in an SCI-indexed journal.
- Minimum qualifications shall be as per applicable UGC Regulations.
Scientific Officer:
- Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Forensic Science with First Division from a recognized University/Institution.
Area of Specialization:
- School of Forensic Sciences: Forensic Science (General), Forensic Chemistry & Toxicology, Forensic Biology, Forensic Physics & Ballistics, FPQD
- School of Cyber Security & Digital Forensics: Cyber Security, Computer Science & Information Technology, Digital Forensics, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science
Experience:
Scientific Officer:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the examination of crime exhibits in a Forensic Science Laboratory under a Central or State Government organization.
- Working knowledge of English, Hindi, and computer applications.
- Experience in handling sophisticated analytical instruments used in forensic examinations will be preferred.
- Experience in crime scene investigation and evidence collection will be desirable.
- UGC-NET (Forensic Science) or FACT Plus qualification will be an added advantage.
- Assistant Professor (Regular Remuneration): ₹90,000 per month (Consolidated)
- Assistant Professor (Lower Remuneration): ₹75,000 per month (Consolidated)
- Lecturer (Lower Remuneration): ₹68,000 per month (Consolidated)
- Scientific Officer (Regular Remuneration): ₹60,200 per month (Consolidated)

Selection Process:
