The Institute was granted the status of a Deemed to be University in 2006 and offers academic and professional programmes in areas related to educational planning, administration, policy and management.

Educational Qualification:

  • Guest Faculty Category-I: Candidates should have a Master’s Degree / M.Tech. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information and Communication Technology (ICT) / Artificial Intelligence, or Master’s Degree / M.Tech. in Educational Technology or Master of Computer Applications (MCA), with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognised University.
  • Guest Faculty Category-II:
    • Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Education (M.Ed. / M.A. Education) or an allied subject such as Educational Technology, Educational Planning and Administration, Curriculum and Pedagogy or Digital Pedagogy, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognised University.
    • Candidates may also possess a Master’s Degree / M.Tech. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information and Communication Technology (ICT) / Artificial Intelligence, Master’s Degree / M.Tech. in Educational Technology or Master of Computer Applications (MCA), with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
  • Candidates should have cleared NET conducted by UGC / CSIR or a similar UGC-accredited test such as SLET / SET, or possess a Ph.D. qualification meeting the prescribed UGC conditions for exemption from NET / SLET / SET.
  • NET / SLET / SET shall also not be required for Master’s programmes in disciplines for which such tests are not conducted by UGC, CSIR or a similar UGC-accredited agency.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Guest Faculty shall be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month, as per UGC norms.

Age Limit:

  • Superannuated / retired teachers may be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
