The Central University of Kashmir invites eligible candidates for Guest Teacher engagement in the Department of Commerce. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Commerce and the required NET qualification or Ph.D. may attend the walk-in interview on September 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

About the Organization: The Central University of Kashmir, established in 2009, operates across four campuses in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir. It has nine schools and 21 teaching departments offering more than 40 undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated, diploma, vocational and research programmes. The University supports research through its Research and Development Cell and provides student services through its Dean of Students Welfare and Central Placement Cell. Its academic and administrative operations are supported by dedicated quality assurance and IT services.

Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Commerce with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- Candidates must have qualified the UGC-NET or CSIR-NET, or hold a Ph.D. awarded in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and amendments, as applicable for exemption from NET.
Candidate Profile:
- Retired teachers in the relevant subject who have worked in the Higher Education Department (College/University) of Jammu and Kashmir UT are also eligible and will be given preference.
- Remuneration of Rs. 1,000/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month.
- TA of Rs. 300/- per day of visit, subject to a maximum of Rs. 5,000/- per month.
