Departments:

  • School of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology – 01 Post (SC)
  • Patliputra School of Economics – 01 Post (SC)
  • School of Astronomy – 04 Posts (02-UR, 01-EBC & 01-SC)

Educational Qualification:

  • School of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology:
    • Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Nano Science / Nano Technology or a Ph.D. in Science / Engineering / Technology in the area of nanomaterial research, with a Master’s degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Material Science / Nanotechnology / Nanoscience with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university / institute of repute.
    • Candidates should have cleared NET conducted by UGC / CSIR or should fulfil the applicable Ph.D. exemption conditions prescribed in the advertisement.
  • Patliputra School of Economics:
    • Candidates should have a Master’s degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a concerned / relevant / allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
    • Candidates should have cleared NET conducted by UGC / CSIR or a similar test accredited by UGC, such as SLET / SET, or should have been awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with applicable UGC regulations and exemption provisions.
  • School of Astronomy:
    • Candidates should have M.Sc. in Space Physics / Astrophysics / Astronomy with minimum 55% marks along with a Ph.D. in related subjects.
    • OR candidates should have M.Sc. in Physics / Material Science / Nanoscience and Technology with a minimum of 55% marks and Ph.D. in related subjects, along with at least two research publications as lead author and lab experience.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Fixed honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- per class, subject to a maximum monthly honorarium of Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Selection Process:

  • The University may conduct examination / seminar / presentation / written test as a method for further shortlisting of candidates, as decided by the competent authority.
  • Shortlisting / selection will consider the prescribed qualification, experience and performance in interview in the relevant field, as per the University requirements and applicable selection criteria.
