Departments:

  • BS&HSS (English) – 01 Post
  • Mechanical Engineering – 01 Post

Educational Qualification:

  • BS&HSS (English): Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline and First Class in BA and MA from a recognized University/Institution.
  • Mechanical Engineering: Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline and First Class in M.E./M.Tech. and B.E./B.Tech.

Area of Specialization:

  • Mechanical Engineering:
    • Manufacturing/Production Engineering preferred.
    • Thermal Engineering considered as the second preference.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 77,000/- per month (Fixed).

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for presentation and interview.
  • The interview for shortlisted candidates will be held in hybrid mode at NIT Mizoram.
  • The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Institute’s website.

Application Fee:

  • For General/OBC/EWS Candidates: Rs. 500/-
  • For SC/ST/EWS Candidates: Rs. 200/-
  • Women Candidates and PwD Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
