About the Organization: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Jammu & Kashmir, was established by an Act of the J&K State Legislature in 2005, and its teaching programmes began in July 2006. The UGC recognizes the University under Sections 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act, and NAAC has accredited it with a B+ Grade. Its technical and nursing programmes are approved by AICTE and the Indian Nursing Council, respectively, and the University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). IUST's academic mandate covers teaching, learning and research in sciences, technology, humanities and social sciences.

Selection Process:

  • Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the prescribed shortlisting criteria as annexed to the detailed advertisement.
  • The final selection shall be made strictly in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2018 (Interview only).
  • Up to 20 candidates may be shortlisted for one post, with 5 additional candidates for each additional post, subject to the University’s screening criteria.
