Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should hold a Doctorate degree in the concerned subject or in relevant basic science.
  • Candidates should have evidence of contributions to teaching or research, supported by published work or innovations.

Experience:

  • Candidates should have at least 15 years of teaching / research / extension experience, including at least 5 years as a Professor or in an equivalent rank at a reputed educational institution or organization.
  • Candidates should have experience in planning, executing or coordinating teaching or research programs and activities in the concerned subject.

Candidate Profile:

  • Officers / faculty members serving in regular positions at UGC-recognized universities / research institutions / statutory or autonomous organizations / Central or State Government departments / Union Territory administrations or Public Sector Undertakings are eligible to apply.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Pay Matrix Level 14: Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs. 2,18,200.

Selection Process:

  • The University may screen applications and shortlist candidates based on their qualifications, experience, publications and other relevant criteria.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

Age Limit:

  • The University’s superannuation age is 65 years.
