Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should have a Master’s Degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian or foreign University.
  • Candidates must have qualified NET conducted by UGC / CSIR or a similar UGC-accredited test such as SLET / SET, or possess a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations.

Experience:

  • Experience requirements, wherever applicable, shall be as prescribed under the relevant UGC / State Government rules and subject-specific eligibility conditions.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Academic Pay Level 10 – Rs.57,700 to Rs.1,82,400.

Selection Process:

  • Selection for Assistant Professor posts will be based on a merit list prepared from a 360-mark written examination and a 40-mark interview.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, with interview information communicated through SMS, email, newspapers and the Commission website.
