Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in the relevant or allied discipline with a consistently good academic record.
- Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed) in the relevant discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed under the applicable UGC Regulations for appointment to the post of Associate Professor.

Experience:
- Candidates should possess a minimum of eight years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic or research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College, or accredited Research Institution/Industry.
- Candidates should have a minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75 as prescribed under Appendix II (Table 2) of the UGC Regulations.
Academic Pay Level-13A (7th CPC)
Selection Process:
- Applications will be screened based on the prescribed eligibility criteria and the applicable UGC Regulations.
- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted by the Screening Committee based on their academic and research credentials.
- Final selection will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the interview.
