Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, invites applications from eligible candidates for Teaching Assistant posts in the Departments of Civil Engineering and Electronics Engineering, on a purely ad hoc basis for 11 months. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the respective department walk-in interviews on August 24, 2026 for Civil Engineering and September 1, 2026 for Electronics Engineering, as per the prescribed schedule.

Educational Qualification:
- Civil Engineering:
- Candidates should have First Class or an equivalent CGPA (minimum 6.5 on the scale of 10) in M.Tech./M.E. and B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering or an allied branch with good academic record.
- OR Candidates should possess Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or an allied branch with First Class or an equivalent CGPA (minimum 6.5 on the scale of 10) in M.Tech./M.E. and B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering or an allied branch with good academic record.
- Electronics Engineering:
- Candidates should have First Class or an equivalent CGPA (minimum 6.5 on the scale of 10) in M.Tech./M.E. and B.Tech./B.E. with good academic record in the branch of Electronics Engineering.
- OR Candidates should possess Ph.D. in appropriate branch with First Class or an equivalent CGPA (minimum 6.5 on the scale of 10) in B.Tech./B.E. and M.Tech./M.E. with good academic record in the branch of Electronics Engineering.
- Teaching Assistant without Ph.D.: Rs. 45,000/- per month
- Teaching Assistant with Ph.D.: Rs. 60,000/- per month
