Educational Qualification:

  • Assistant Professor:
    • Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
    • Candidates should have qualified NET/SET/SLET or possess a Ph.D. degree with exemption as per UGC Regulations.
    • For subjects in which NET/SET/SLET examinations are not conducted, the requirement of NET/SET/SLET shall not apply.
  • Librarian:
    • Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) along with knowledge of library computerization.
    • Candidates should have qualified NET/SET/SLET in Library Science or possess a Ph.D. degree with exemption as per UGC Regulations.

Experience:

  • Assistant Professor: Teaching experience in Colleges, Universities, or recognized Higher Educational Institutions will be preferred.
  • Librarian:
    • Experience in a College or University library with knowledge of library automation software, digital library management, e-resources, cataloguing, classification, and ICT applications.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in establishing and managing a new college library.

Candidate Profile:

  • Candidates should possess effective communication skills in both English and Hindi.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications, research publications, teaching experience, and proficiency in ICT-enabled teaching.
  • Candidates should be willing to work in a tribal and rural area and uphold the ideals of Ramakrishna Mission, including value-based education, discipline, character building, and service to society.
Pay Scale/Salary:

Remuneration shall be paid as per the norms/orders of the Government of Chhattisgarh applicable from time to time.

Selection Process:

  • Assistant Professor: Selection will be based on Academic Record (50 Marks), Teaching Experience (10 Marks), and Interview & Teaching Demonstration (40 Marks).
  • Librarian: Selection will be based on Academic Record (50 Marks), Teaching Experience (10 Marks), Interview & Teaching Demonstration (40 Marks), along with a Library Management Presentation.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
