About the Organization: Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur, is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Established in 1993, it serves as a national resource centre for youth development, with a focus on education, training, research and outreach. The Institute offers postgraduate, diploma and doctoral programmes across areas such as youth work, social work, development, psychology and public policy. Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a relevant or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates should have qualified the UGC/CSIR NET or a similar UGC-accredited test, such as SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. that qualifies them for exemption under applicable UGC regulations.
  • Candidates with a Ph.D. from a university or institution ranked among the top 500 by QS, Times Higher Education or ARWU are also eligible to apply.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 52,000/- per month, subject to applicable taxes.
