Educational Qualification:
- A Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is essential for all faculty levels, with First Class in the preceding degrees.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. directly after B.E. / B.Tech. are also eligible and must have First Class at the Bachelor’s level.

Experience:
- Experience and cumulative credit point requirements shall be as prescribed under Schedule E of the NIT Statutes and the detailed advertisement.
- Candidates who obtained a Ph.D. from NIT Warangal must generally have at least three years of post-Ph.D. experience to apply.
- Professor: Pay Level 14A
- Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Pay Level 10
Selection Process:
- Applications will undergo scrutiny and shortlisting. Departments may apply criteria higher than the minimum eligibility and credit point requirements.
- Further shortlisting may include a written test and/or a teaching and research seminar.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview before the selection committee.
