Educational Qualification:

For Assistant Professor Positions:

  • Candidates should have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant discipline from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates applying for Sports Coaching disciplines should possess the prescribed qualification in the respective discipline as per NCTE and UGC norms.
  • Candidates applying for Physical Education, Sports Psychology, and Sports Nutrition should have qualified NET/SLET/SET or possess a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations, wherever applicable.

For Non-Teaching Positions:

  • For the Junior Engineer (Civil) position, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • For the Public Relations Officer position, candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized University/Institute.

Experience:

For Assistant Professor (Sports Coaching) Positions:

  • Candidates applying for Sports Coaching disciplines should have experience in teaching, training, or coaching sportspersons participating in National-level or higher competitions.
  • Candidates with evidence of participation in national or international competitions, coaching, athlete development programmes, sports performance projects, or sports science support services will be preferred.

For Non-Teaching Positions:

  • For the Junior Engineer (Civil) position, candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree should possess one year of relevant experience, while candidates with a Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field should possess three years of relevant experience.
  • For the Public Relations Officer position, candidates should have at least five years of relevant professional experience.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Assistant Professor (All Disciplines): Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 80,000/- per month.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil): Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
  • Public Relations Officer: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 77,000/- per month.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age limit is 35 years for Junior Engineer (Civil).
  • Maximum age limit is 40 years for Public Relations Officer.

The application fee is Rs. 1,000/- for all candidates, except SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates, who are exempted from the application fee.
