About the Organization: National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh (NID MP) is an autonomous Institution of National Importance under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Established in the academic year 2019-20, the Institute is located at Acharpura in Bhopal and focuses on design education, research, innovation and practice. NID MP offers Bachelor of Design programmes in Industrial Design, Communication Design and Textile & Apparel Design.

  • Associate Senior Faculty / Designer (Assistant Professor) – 05 Posts (03 OBC, 01 EWS, 01 UR)

Educational Qualification:

  • Designer / Faculty: Candidates should possess a Degree / Diploma in Design from a recognized University / reputed Institution.
  • Associate Senior Faculty / Designer (Assistant Professor): Candidates should possess a Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Design from a recognized University / reputed Institution.
  • A Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Design is desirable for the Designer / Faculty post.
  • Doctorate in Design is desirable for the Associate Senior Faculty / Designer (Assistant Professor) post.

Experience:

  • Designer / Faculty: Minimum 05 years of experience in the relevant field of Design.
  • Associate Senior Faculty / Designer (Assistant Professor): Minimum 07 years of experience in the relevant field of Design.
  • Only experience acquired after obtaining the essential qualification will be counted. Experience acquired while pursuing a higher qualification will not be considered for calculating the required experience.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Designer / Faculty: Pay Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
  • Associate Senior Faculty / Designer (Assistant Professor): Pay Level 11 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix

Selection Process:

  • The Institute may shortlist candidates based on qualifications, suitability, relevant experience, and other criteria as considered appropriate.
  • The selection process may include Group Discussion, Presentation, Teaching Demonstration, Interview, or one or more of these methods, as decided by the Institute.
  • The list of eligible / provisionally eligible candidates and information regarding the selection process will be displayed on the NID MP website.

Age Limit:

  • Designer / Faculty: Not exceeding 45 years as on the closing date of application.
  • Associate Senior Faculty / Designer (Assistant Professor): Not exceeding 50 years as on the closing date of application.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

  • For UR / EWS / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: Rs. 1,000/- per post
  • For SC / ST / PwD / Ex-Servicemen / Women Candidates: No Application Fee
  • Application fee should be paid in the form of a Demand Draft as mentioned in the detailed advertisement.
