Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Candidates should fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by AICTE for the position.
Experience:
- Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of teaching, research and/or industry experience.
- Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience as a Professor or in an equivalent senior academic position.
Candidate Profile:
- Distinguished academic credentials with a strong record of teaching, research, publications, sponsored projects and industry engagement.
- Proven academic, research and administrative leadership experience in a reputed higher education institution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large academic institutions, multidisciplinary teams and strategic initiatives.
- Visionary leadership with a global outlook and commitment to academic excellence, research, innovation and institutional growth.
- Experience in fostering interdisciplinary research, innovation, entrepreneurship and industry-academia collaborations.
- Experience in accreditation, rankings, quality assurance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Strong institution-building capabilities, stakeholder engagement skills and national/international collaborative experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
