• Professor:
  • Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with an outstanding academic record, high-quality published research, and fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed under the UGC Regulations, 2018.
• Associate Professor:
  • Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline along with a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed under the UGC Regulations, 2018.
• Assistant Professor:
  • Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or an equivalent accredited test such as SLET/SET, unless exempted from NET/SLET/SET in accordance with the UGC Regulations relating to the award of a Ph.D. degree.

• Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a University/College as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and/or research experience at an equivalent level in a University, National Level Institution, or comparable organization, along with the experience and research credentials prescribed under the UGC Regulations.
• Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic or research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/Industry, together with the required research publications and academic research score as prescribed by the UGC Regulations.
• Assistant Professor: Experience, wherever applicable, shall be governed by the UGC Regulations, 2018 and subsequent amendments.
