Educational Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • Ph.D. Degree in the relevant discipline as per UGC Regulations 2018 for Professor and Associate Professor posts.
  • NET / SLET / SET qualification wherever applicable for Assistant Professor posts.
  • Equivalent qualifications from accredited foreign universities will also be considered as per UGC norms.

Experience:

  • Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience with minimum 10 research publications and research score requirements as per UGC Regulations 2018.
  • Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience with minimum 7 research publications and required research score as per UGC Regulations 2018.
  • Assistant Professor: Teaching/research experience, research publications, and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. eligibility as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor: Academic Pay Level 14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200)
  • Associate Professor: Academic Pay Level 13A (₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100)
  • Assistant Professor: Academic Pay Level 10 (₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400)

Selection Process:

  • The Academic Score as specified in Appendix II (Table 3A) of UGC Regulations 2018 shall be considered only for shortlisting candidates for interview.
  • The final selection will be based solely on the performance of the candidate in the interview.
