- Assistant Professor Grade I: PhD with First Class, 60% marks or equivalent CGPA at the preceding degree in the appropriate discipline with a minimum of 6 first-author publications in Q1 journals (4 first-author publications in Q1 journals for Mathematics and Statistics and Computational and Data Sciences).

- Assistant Professor Grade II: As per the prescribed eligibility criteria of the institute.
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Minimum 3 years of teaching, research, or industry experience in the relevant area, excluding the experience gained while pursuing the PhD.
