About the Organization: Indian Institute of Management Guwahati (IIM Guwahati) was established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Education in 2026 in Guwahati, Assam, as the 22nd Indian Institute of Management in India. The Institute aims to develop responsible management professionals and leaders through rigorous education, research and evidence-based decision-making, with a focus on the economic, cultural and ecological context of North-East India.

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D. or equivalent in the relevant area.
- Candidates should have a strong academic background and a successful track record of research and publication.
Experience:
- Professor: Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience, of which at least 6 years should be at the level of Associate Professor at an institution of repute.
- Associate Professor: Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years of teaching/research experience, of which at least 6 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor at an institution of repute.
- Assistant Professor (Grade I): Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of teaching/research/professional experience as of the date of application will be considered. Experience acquired while pursuing a Ph.D. will not be counted.
- Assistant Professor (Grade II): Candidates not eligible for Assistant Professor Grade I may be considered for a contractual/Assistant Professor Grade II position as per the applicable norms.
- Professor: Academic Pay Level 15 (Rs. 1,82,200/- to Rs. 2,24,100/-)
- Professor: Academic Pay Level 14A (Rs. 1,59,100/- to Rs. 2,20,200/-)
- Associate Professor: Academic Pay Level 13A2 (Rs. 1,39,600/- to Rs. 2,11,300/-)
- Assistant Professor: Academic Pay Level 13A1 (Rs. 1,31,400/- to Rs. 2,04,700/-)
- Assistant Professor (Grade I): Academic Pay Level 12 (Rs. 1,01,500/- to Rs. 1,67,400/-)
- Assistant Professor (Grade II): Academic Pay Level 10–11 (Rs. 57,000/- to Rs. 1,17,200/-)
Selection Process:
