Candidate Profile:
- Candidates should be distinguished industry leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, policymakers, or experts of national/international repute with proven expertise in their respective fields.
- Candidates should have at least 20 years of professional service/experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
- A formal academic qualification is not essential if the candidate possesses exemplary professional practice.
- Candidates should possess the skills to carry out duties and responsibilities similar to those of a regular Professor.
- The Professor of Practice position is not open to serving or retired teaching professionals.
- Professor of Practice funded by IIEST Shibpur may receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹1,00,000/- per month.
- For Professor of Practice funded by industries, the remuneration will be mutually agreed upon between the industry and the expert.
