Educational Qualification:
- A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
- Candidates must have qualified NET/SET/SLET or an equivalent eligibility test recognized by UGC.
- Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with applicable UGC Regulations may be exempted from the NET/SET/SLET requirement.
- Relaxations in minimum marks are applicable for reserved categories and other eligible candidates as per UGC and Government norms.

Emoluments for Job Trainee is Rs. 35,000/- per month
Selection Process:
- Applications received through the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal will be scrutinized by HPPSC.
- The selection process shall consist of an Objective Type Screening Test and a Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test, which will be conducted on the same day in separate sessions.
- Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the written examination shall be called for the Personality Test conducted by HPPSC.
- Final selection shall be based on the criteria prescribed by HPPSC and shall be subject to verification of original documents and fulfillment of all eligibility conditions.
