About the Organization: Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening), University of Delhi, has a distinguished history dating back to the late 17th century, with its modern evening-college format emerging in 1958 to provide higher-education opportunities to working students and others who needed evening classes. Today, the College offers undergraduate programmes across diverse disciplines and languages, including Bengali, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Hindi and Arabic, and welcomes students from different parts of India and varied social backgrounds.

Educational Qualification:
- Qualifications for Guest Faculty shall be the same as those prescribed for the appointment of regular Assistant Professors of Colleges under UGC Regulations, 2018 and the API cut-off prescribed by the University of Delhi for different categories.
- Candidates must be enrolled in the latest Adhoc Panel of the respective department of the University of Delhi.
- Honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit is 70 years.
