Educational Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant discipline.
  • Qualifications shall be as per the UGC Regulations, 2018 and the applicable NCTE Regulations, wherever applicable.
  • The National Eligibility Test (NET) or an accredited test such as SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility for appointment as Assistant Professor wherever prescribed under the UGC Regulations.
  • Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations shall be exempted from the minimum eligibility requirement of NET/SLET/SET.

Experience:

Experience, wherever applicable, shall be as per the UGC Regulations, 2018 and the applicable NCTE Regulations.

Pay Scale/Salary:

Honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month as per UGC norms.

Selection Process:

  • Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria will be considered for the Walk-in Interview.
  • The Academic Score as specified in Appendix II (Table 3A) of the UGC Regulations, 2018 shall be considered for shortlisting candidates for the interview.
  • The selection may be based on a presentation, seminar, interview, or a combination thereof.
  • The final selection shall be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.

Superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
