Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should be distinguished experts with proven expertise and significant professional achievements in the relevant field.
  • A formal academic qualification is not mandatory for candidates possessing exemplary professional practice in lieu of academic credentials.

Experience:

Candidates should have at least 15 years of professional experience, preferably at a senior level, in the relevant field.

Candidate Profile:

  • Candidates should have made remarkable contributions in their respective profession or field of expertise.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to contribute to teaching, mentoring, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, or skill development activities.
  • Candidates with extensive industry, professional, public service, or leadership experience will be preferred.
Pay Scale/Salary:

Consolidated remuneration ranging from Rs. 1,25,000/- to Rs. 1,50,000/- per month, based on mutually agreed terms and conditions.

Selection Process:

  • The Vice-Chancellor may invite nominations from eminent experts for the Professor of Practice positions.
  • Eligible experts may also submit their nomination along with a detailed biodata and a brief write-up highlighting their potential contribution to Gautam Buddha University.
  • Nominations will be evaluated by a Selection Committee comprising senior faculty members of the University and an eminent external expert.
  • Final appointment will be made based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee and the approval of the Board of Management.
