Educational Qualification:

  • Assistant Professor: Ph.D. or equivalent with an outstanding academic background. Candidates nearing completion of their doctoral degree may also apply.
  • Associate Professor/Professor: Ph.D. or equivalent with a successful track record of research and publications.

Experience:

  • Assistant Professor: Experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of teaching/research experience, including at least 6 years at the level of Assistant Professor at a reputed institution.
  • Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience, including at least 6 years at the level of Associate Professor at a reputed institution.

  • Demonstrated ability to teach in postgraduate and doctoral programmes.
  • Excellent academic credentials and research potential.
  • For senior positions, demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and academic leadership.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor (Pay Level 15): INR 1,82,200 – INR 2,24,100
  • Professor (Pay Level 14A): INR 1,59,100 – INR 2,20,200
  • Associate Professor (Pay Level 13A2): INR 1,39,600 – INR 2,11,300
  • Assistant Professor (Pay Level 13A1): INR 1,31,400 – INR 2,04,700
  • Assistant Professor (Pay Level 12): INR 1,01,500 – INR 1,67,400

Plus allowances, superannuation benefits, and consulting opportunities as per Institute and Government of India norms.

Selection Process:

  • Applications are reviewed by faculty members and the Faculty Recruitment Committee of the respective Area, Group, Centre, or School.
  • Shortlisted candidates are required to deliver a research seminar and interact with faculty members, the Dean (Faculty), and the Director.
  • Final recommendations are made by the Faculty Recruitment Committee/Search & Selection Committee based on academic merit, seminar performance, and institutional fit.
