About the Organization: Dr. B. R. Departments:

  • Law or any Social Science/Humanities discipline – 03 Posts (OBC – 01, UR – 01 and EWS – 01)
  • Criminology and allied discipline – 02 Posts (OBC – 01 and UR – 01)

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a concerned, relevant or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates should have qualified the UGC/CSIR NET or a similar UGC-accredited test such as SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. that qualifies for exemption under applicable UGC regulations.
  • Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 by QS, Times Higher Education or ARWU are also eligible to apply.

Experience:

  • Teaching experience in a higher education institution is desirable.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month, as per UGC norms.

Selection Process:

  • The selection process may involve a presentation, seminar, interview, or a combination of these.
  • Final selection will be based only on the candidates’ performance in the interview.

Age Limit:

  • Superannuated teachers may also be considered, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
