  • Dean, School of Engineering

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Engineering, CSE, IT, AI, Data Science or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Candidates should have 18 to 20+ years of academic and research experience.
  • Senior academic leadership experience as Dean, Associate Dean, Director or HOD is required.
  • Strong research experience with SCI, WoS or Scopus research profile and experience in funded projects, patents, Ph.D. supervision or consultancy.
  • Proven experience in leading large academic teams and student cohorts.

Candidate Profile:

  • The University is seeking a visionary academic leader to drive academic excellence, research growth, innovation, industry engagement and strategic growth across the School of Engineering.
  • Candidates with a background in CSE or Computer Science, with expertise in AI, ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or emerging technologies, will be given preference.
  • Candidates should have demonstrated leadership in academic planning, quality enhancement, institutional growth and faculty development.
  • Experience in strengthening publications, patents, funded research, consultancy and Centres of Excellence will be preferred.
  • Experience in developing industry-aligned programmes, corporate partnerships, internships, live projects and international collaborations will be preferred.
  • Experience in leading initiatives related to NAAC, NBA, NIRF, QS, THE and regulatory compliance is desirable.
