Educational Qualification:

  • College of Agriculture, College of Horticulture & College of Forestry: Four-year degree in B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Horticulture / B.Sc. Forestry with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, as applicable.
  • College of Home Science / Community Science: Four-year degree in B.Sc. Home Science / B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science / Food Nutrition and Dietetics / Community Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
  • College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology: Four-year B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / B.S. in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
  • College of Dairy Technology: Four-year B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent.
  • College of Fisheries Science: Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent.
  • Candidates should possess graduation in the concerned faculty and a Master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks, as applicable.
  • For disciplines in which NET is conducted, NET along with two publications in NAAS / SCOPUS-rated refereed journals is compulsory for candidates possessing a Master’s degree.
  • NET may be exempted for candidates holding a Ph.D. completed with prescribed coursework, subject to the specified publication requirements. Ph.D. without the prescribed coursework will not qualify for NET exemption.

Experience:

  • Teaching experience is desirable.
  • Agri-Business Management: Two years of teaching, research or industrial/professional experience in a reputed organization is desirable.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Assistant Professor (Contractual) with NET / Ph.D.: Rs.57,700/- per month
  • Assistant Professor (Contractual) with Master’s Degree only: Rs.40,000/- per month
  • Guest Faculty / Teaching Associate with NET / Ph.D.: Rs.1,500/- per lecture, maximum Rs.50,000/- per month
  • Guest Faculty / Teaching Associate with Master’s Degree only: Rs.450/- per lecture, maximum Rs.30,000/- per month

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age limit is 40 years for General category candidates as on the date of interview.
  • Age relaxation of 05 years is applicable to OBC, SC, ST and PwD candidates as per Uttar Pradesh State norms.

  • Processing Fee: Rs.1,000/- per post per candidate.
  • The fee is payable in cash at the time of the Walk-in Interview and is non-refundable.
