Educational Qualification:

  • Educational qualifications shall be as per UGC norms.
  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates should have cleared UGC NET/CSIR-NET/SLET/SET or possess a Ph.D. qualification as per UGC Regulations.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Guest Faculty may be paid an honorarium of up to Rs. 50,000/- per month or Rs. 1,500/- per lecture based on the actual number of classes engaged, whichever is lower.
  • Assistant Professors engaged on purely temporary basis with at least two years of teaching experience in premier higher educational institutions along with proven teaching competence and satisfactory academic credentials may be paid a consolidated honorarium of up to Rs. 57,000/- per month or Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, whichever is lower.
  • Candidates possessing outstanding academic and research credentials, including Post-Doctoral experience, quality research publications, books, and significant research contributions from reputed institutions in India or abroad, may be considered for a higher consolidated honorarium of up to Rs. 75,000/- per month or Rs. 1,500/- per lecture subject to university approval and departmental requirements.
