Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned, relevant or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates must have qualified the UGC-NET, CSIR-NET or an equivalent UGC-accredited test such as SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. awarded in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and subsequent amendments, as specified in the advertisement.
  • A Ph.D. from a foreign university or institution ranked among the top 500 in QS, Times Higher Education (THE) or ARWU rankings is also accepted under the alternative eligibility route stated in the advertisement.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Age Limit:

  • Superannuated teachers may also be considered, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
