About the Organization: Central Sanskrit University (CSU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament, 2020, and is the largest Sanskrit university in the world as well as the only multi-campus Sanskrit university in India. The University is dedicated to the promotion of Sanskrit studies, Indian Knowledge Systems, interdisciplinary research, and the preservation and dissemination of India's rich cultural and intellectual heritage.

Educational Qualification:

  • Acharya/M.A. (Sanskrit) or equivalent degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the point-scale system from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • For Multi-Disciplinary Studies, candidates should possess a Master’s Degree either in IKS or in Sanskrit or allied Shastras.
  • Candidates must have cleared the NET in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or possess a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations and amendments, subject to the prescribed conditions for exemption from NET.

Candidate Profile:

  • Candidates should have the ability to teach through the Sanskrit medium.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Rs. 1,000/- per period/lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 40,000/- per month.

Selection Process:

  • Eligible candidates will appear directly in the Walk-in Interview on the scheduled date, time, and venue.
  • Candidates are required to report one hour before the commencement of the Interview for registration and document verification.
  • The engagement shall be made strictly on the basis of performance in the Interview before the duly constituted Selection Committee.
