Educational Qualification:

  • Professor: Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline along with the prescribed research publications, research score and teaching/research experience, as applicable to the respective post.
  • Associate Professor: Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, along with the prescribed teaching/research experience, publications and research score.
  • Assistant Professor: Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the concerned/relevant/allied subject along with NET/SLET/SET or a Ph.D. as per applicable UGC Regulations, subject to the prescribed exemptions.
  • Post-specific qualifications applicable to NCTE, NCISM, Research, Traditional Art and other specialized positions shall apply as prescribed in the detailed advertisement.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor / BRA Research Professor: Academic Level-14 – Rs.1,44,200 to Rs.2,18,200.
  • Associate Professor: Academic Level-13A – Rs.1,31,400 to Rs.2,17,100.
  • Assistant Professor: Academic Level-10 – Rs.57,700 to Rs.1,82,400.

Selection Process:

  • Applications will be scrutinized, and eligible candidates will be shortlisted as per the prescribed criteria.
  • For applicable Assistant Professor positions, the academic score will be considered for shortlisting, while selection will be based on performance in the interview.
