Bangalore University, Bengaluru, invites applications from eligible candidates for Full-time/Part-time Guest Faculty positions in various PG Departments at the Jnanabharathi Campus and P.G. Centre Ramanagara for the academic year 2026-27. The engagement is purely temporary and will be based on the existing workload of the respective departments. Eligible candidates may apply online on or up to August 21, 2026, and submit the hard copy of the filled application form to the concerned department on or before August 24, 2026, by 05:00 PM.

Educational Qualification:
- NET/SLET/Ph.D. shall be the minimum criteria as per the UGC Regulations for appointment of Guest Faculty in Higher Education Institutions.
- Candidates should possess the prescribed 10+2+3+2 pattern of education.
- NET/SLET/SET qualification is not required for disciplines where NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
- Full-time Guest Faculty with NET/SLET/Ph.D.: Rs. 50,000/- per month, with a maximum workload of 16 hours per week / 64 hours per month.
- Part-time Guest Faculty with NET/SLET/Ph.D.: Rs. 780/- per hour, with a minimum workload of 8 hours per week.
- Part-time Guest Faculty without NET/SLET/Ph.D.: Rs. 680/- per hour.
Selection Process:
- Guest Faculty will be selected based on the existing workload in the respective department and prevailing reservation policies of the Government of Karnataka.
- Candidates appearing for the interview are required to give a demo class as part of the interview.
- Eligible candidates will be informed about the interview date and time by the respective Chairman/Co-ordinator of the department.

- For SC/ST/CAT-1 Candidates: Rs. 100/-
