- Assistant Professor Grade I: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years experience (including 3 years as Assistant Professor Grade I)
- Professor: Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. experience with at least 4 years as Associate Professor
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Level 10–11 (₹70,900 – ₹75,300 approx.)
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Level 12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400)
- Associate Professor: Level 13A2 (₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300)
- Professor: Level 14A (₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200)
