Educational Qualification:

  • Professor:
    • Academic route: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline, have at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a research score of at least 120.
    • Professional route: Outstanding professionals should hold a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and provide documented evidence of significant contributions to knowledge in the field.
  • Associate Professor: Candidates should have a Ph.D. in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline, and a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, have at least seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a research score of at least 75.

Experience:

  • Professor:
    • Academic route: Candidates should have at least 10 years of teaching experience or equivalent research experience, with evidence of successfully guiding doctoral candidates.
    • Professional route: Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate Professor: Candidates should have at least 8 years of teaching or research experience in an academic or research position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor: Academic Level 14 with a pay scale of Rs. 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2,18,200/-
  • Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A with a pay scale of Rs. 1,31,400/- to Rs. 2,17,100/-

Selection Process:

  • Applications will be screened according to UGC Regulations, 2018, and the University’s shortlisting norms.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and must produce their original documents for verification.
