Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree in relevant discipline
Experience:
- Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience with at least 4 years at Associate Professor level
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of experience with at least 3 years at Assistant Professor level
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Minimum 3 years of experience (excluding Ph.D. duration)
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Fresh Ph.D. candidates can apply (initially on contract basis)
As per 7th CPC:
- Professor: Level 14A (₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200)
- Associate Professor: Level 13A2 (₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300)
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Level 12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400)
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Level 10/11 (₹57,700 – ₹98,200)
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years for Assistant Professor (as per cycle dates)
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms
