- Assistant Professor Grade-II: Ph.D. candidates with or without experience
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Minimum 3 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research/professional experience
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years post-Ph.D. experience with 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor Grade I in IITs, IISc, IISERs, IIMs, or at an equivalent level
in any other Indian/Foreign Universities/ Institutions/Industries of comparable level - Professor: Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. experience with 4 years at Associate Professor level in IITs, IISc, IISERs, IIMs or at an equivalent level in any
other Indian/Foreign Universities/ Institutions of comparable level
As per 7th CPC:
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: Level 10/11 (₹57,700 – ₹1,17,200)
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Level 12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400)
- Associate Professor: Level 13A2 (₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300)
- Professor: Level 14A (₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200)
Selection Process:
Shortlisting based on academic and research credentials followed by interview
Age Limit:
For direct recruitment:
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: Preferably below 35 years
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Preferably below 38 years
- Associate Professor: Preferably below 45 years
