• Professor of Practice:
  • Intended for senior and accomplished professionals with substantial expertise and recognition in industry, professional practice, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, research and development, or another relevant field.
  • Candidates should have significant, demonstrable professional experience in a relevant engineering, technology or interdisciplinary area.
  • Senior leadership or technical experience, major contributions to technology or engineering practice, and achievements such as project implementation, patents, consultancy, entrepreneurship or professional awards will be considered.
  • Experience in guiding, mentoring or training professionals and young engineers is preferred. Retired professionals with relevant expertise and achievements may also apply.
  • Selection will primarily consider professional competence, industry experience, leadership, technological expertise and demonstrated impact; conventional academic credentials alone will not be the primary emphasis.
• Adjunct Professor:
  • Intended for senior and accomplished academicians, researchers and scholars with a distinguished academic and research record in the relevant discipline.
  • Candidates should have a strong record of research and scholarly contributions, such as publications, books, patents, research projects or other recognized work.
  • Experience supervising Ph.D., postgraduate or undergraduate research and student projects is preferred.
  • Experience in sponsored research, consultancy, collaborative projects, curriculum development, academic leadership, research collaboration, innovation or technology transfer will be considered.
  • Selection will primarily consider academic standing, research excellence, scholarly contributions, teaching and research experience, and the ability to contribute to CUPGS.
• Applicants should demonstrate relevant expertise and achievements in their proposed area of engagement.

• Remuneration will be governed by the approved provisions of BPUT and the relevant Government of Odisha/Higher Education Department orders.

• Applications will be scrutinized by the University/CUPGS as per the approved selection modalities.

• Selection may include verification of academic and professional credentials and assessment of domain expertise and relevance to CUPGS requirements.
• The University may conduct any other evaluation considered appropriate by the competent authority.
