Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in Social Sciences, English, Science Education, Sociology of Education, Education Development and Policy, Foundations of Education, or Psychology of Education.
  • In addition to the above degree requirement, candidates should meet either of the following eligibility criteria:
    • Have qualified NET conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar UGC-accredited test such as SLET/SET; or hold a Ph.D. that meets the applicable UGC regulations for exemption from NET/SLET/SET.
    • Hold a Ph.D. from a foreign university or institution ranked among the top 500 by QS, Times Higher Education or ARWU.

Experience:

  • Experience teaching at the university level is desirable.
  • Experience using quantitative or mixed-methods research is desirable.
  • Experience working on large-scale, multi-partner research projects is desirable.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Entry pay of Rs. 57,700/- at Academic Pay Level 10, as per the 7th CPC (UGC).

Selection Process:
