About the Organization: The Department of Higher Education is part of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.     • National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh
    • Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, Rajasthan
    • Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Punjab
    • National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha
    • Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat, Gujarat
    • National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu
    • National Institute of Technology Mizoram

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should hold a Ph.D. and have first-class degrees at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels in Engineering or Technology.
  • Candidates who obtained a Ph.D. directly after B.E. or B.Tech. should have first-class marks at the Bachelor’s level in Engineering or Technology.
  • Candidates should be eminent in their field of specialization and have an outstanding academic record.

Experience:

  • Candidates should have at least 15 years of experience in teaching, industry, or research, of which at least 7 years of experience at the level of Professor or above is required in a reputed educational institute, industry or research organization.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Fixed pay of Rs. 2,10,000 per month, with a special allowance of Rs. 11,250 and other usual allowances.

Selection Process:

  • Appointment will be made from a panel of names recommended by a Committee constituted under the NITSER Act, 2007, and the Statutes framed under the Act.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates should preferably be no more than 65 years of age as of the application closing date.
