Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have a good academic record and at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a Master’s degree in Electronic Media, Mass Communication or a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Candidates must have qualified the NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar UGC-accredited test such as SLET/SET.
- Master’s degree holders in disciplines where national eligibility tests such as UGC NET or CSIR NET are not conducted are exempt from the NET/SLET/SET requirement for Guest Faculty positions.
- A Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferable.
- An honorarium of Rs. 1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per month.
Selection Process:
- Candidates should be prepared to deliver a demonstration lecture on a related topic.
- Bringing a portfolio of media work as soft copies or active links is recommended.
