Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in the advertised subject area, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the preceding Master’s degree in a concerned, relevant or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university or institution ranked among the top 500 in the world by QS, Times Higher Education (THE) or ARWU may apply, as specified in the advertisement.
- Fixed emoluments of Rs. 80,000/- per month.
Selection Process:
- The Academic Score specified under Appendix II (Table 3A) of the UGC Regulations, 2018 will be used only to shortlist candidates for the interview.
- Final selection will be based solely on the candidate’s performance in the personal interview.
- Eligible candidates must appear before the Selection Committee in person. Interview details will be notified in due course.
