About the Organization: Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara, is a Central University established under the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2022 and functions under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. As India's first university dedicated to the Transportation and Logistics sector, GSV focuses on education, training, skilling, and research across areas such as railways, aviation, ports, shipping, highways, waterways, logistics, and supply chain management. The University follows an industry-driven and multidisciplinary approach to develop skilled professionals and support innovation in the transportation and logistics ecosystem.

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with 60% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale, in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from a recognized top University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university, along with UGC-CSIR NET or GATE in the relevant subject.
  • OR candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree from a recognized top university/institution.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of post-qualification teaching/research experience in an equivalent cadre or relevant field in any Government/Private University or relevant Institute/Research Institute is desirable.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Remuneration of Rs. 75,000/- per month.

Selection Process:

  • Eligible candidates may be shortlisted based on the qualifications and experience prescribed for the position.
  • If the number of applications received is large, the University may restrict the number of candidates called for interview based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed requirements.
