Educational Qualification:

  • Music:
    • Candidates should have a Postgraduate Degree with 55% aggregate in Music.
    • Candidates should have NET / Ph.D. in Music.
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering: Candidates should possess First Class M.E. / M.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with B.E. / B.Tech. from the University of Calicut or a recognised degree / postgraduate qualification thereto, all in the relevant subject.
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering: Candidates should possess First Class M.E. / M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering with B.E. / B.Tech. from the University of Calicut or a recognised degree / postgraduate qualification thereto, all in the relevant subject.

Experience:

  • Music: Preference will be given to experienced candidates.
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering: Candidates should have one year of teaching experience from Government-approved Colleges.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Music – UGC Qualified: Rs. 1,700/- per session of one and half hour.
  • Music – Others: Rs. 850/- per session of one and half hour.
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering: Rs. 1,800/- per day, subject to a maximum of Rs. 27,000/- per month.

Selection Process:

  • The Ad-hoc Selection Committee may conduct a screening test, if required.

Age Limit:

  • Music: Candidates should be below 50 years.
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering: Upper age limit is 64 years.
