Educational Qualification:

  • College of Agriculture / College of Community Science / College of Basic Sciences & Humanities / College of Fisheries:
    • Master’s degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university, along with NET conducted by UGC / ICAR / CSIR or an equivalent accredited test such as SLET/SET.
    • Candidates awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with applicable UGC Regulations may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET as prescribed in the advertisement.
  • College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences: Basic B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India and registration with the State/Central Veterinary Council, along with the prescribed Master’s degree / NET / Ph.D. requirements as applicable.
  • College of Technology: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees, as per AICTE Regulation 2019.
  • College of Agribusiness Management: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration / PGDM / C.A. / ICWA / M.Com. with First Class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s degree.

Experience:

  • College of Agribusiness Management: Two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s degree is required.
  • Teaching / Post-Doctoral experience is considered as part of the academic/research score for short-listing candidates for interview.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Academic Level-10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 57,700/-.

Selection Process:

  • The Academic score as specified in Annexure-II (Table 3A) shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only.
  • The selection process may include a presentation / written test / interview or a combination of any or all, as prescribed by the University.
  • The University may conduct a written / qualifying examination for short-listing candidates for interview, if required.
  • The final selection is based on the performance in the interview only.
